Delay at Henley: The agreement between Dr. Agar and the Authority as revised was produced by the Clerk. The clause that was objected to at the inquiry, and which Dr. Agar was understood then to withdraw with regard to the payment of £200, still remained. A letter was also received from Messrs. Smith Pinsent and Co., with regard to the immediate completion of contracts without waiting for the approval of the Local government Board. The Clerk added that this was absurd, and he had not answered the letter. …
