Philip Maurice Muntz Deceased: Pursuant to the Stature 22 and 23 Vict., chap. 35, Notice is hereby given that all persons having any claims against the estate of Philip Maurice Muntz, late of Malvern Lodge, Surbiton, in the county of Surrey, Merchant and Manufacturer (who died on the 9th day of January 1899, and who’s will, with three codicils thereto was approved in the Principal Registry  of the Probate Division of her Majesty’s High Court of Justice on the 15th day of March 1899, by Agnes Rundle Muntz, widow, the relict of the  said deceased, and one of the surviving executors named in the said will, and Richard Alfred Pinsent, the executor named in the first codicil, are hereby required to send written particulars of such claims to the undersigned solicitors for the said executors of the deceased, on or before the 27th day of May 1899, after  which date the said executors will distribute the assets of the deceased, having regard only to the claims of which they shall then have received notice. Leamington Town Council: The monthly meeting of the Leamington town Council, held at the Town Hall on Monday afternoon, lasted over two hours, though the business might have been conveniently transacted in half that time. … A report was also sent up from the Electric Light Committee. The Committee stated they had received a letter from Messrs. Pinsent and Co. making a formal application on behalf of the Midland Electric Light Company for the consent of the Corporation to the granting of a Provisional Order to the company and recommended that this consent be refused. The report was adopted. …

Electric Light Committee: At a meeting of this Committee, it was moved by Alderman Wackrill, seconded by Councillor Richards, and carried unanimously: “that the Mayor be appointed Chairman of this Committee during the ensuing year” … The Deputy Town Clerk as instructed to write to Messrs. Pinsent, Smith and Co., solicitors for the Midland Electric Light Company to ascertain if they take up the same position as last years, or if they are prepared to open negotiations with a view of arriving at a settlement and if no such settlement can be arrived at the Committee recommend that the Council’s application be by way of open arbitration with the Board of Trade. A letter was read from Messrs. Pinsent, Smith, and Co., with reference to applications for Electric Lighting Orders, and the same was left with the Town Clerk to reply to on lines indicated …
