Weight Judging: The result of the weight judging at Totnes Fat Stock Show was published on Saturday … The result of the weight judging competition for the nearest estimate of the weight of a bullock in the Newton Fat Stock Show Yard has been declared as follows: the animal weighed 6 cwt 3qrs 8lbs, and Mr. H. Luscombe, of Totnes gave the correct weight, whilst Mr. John Mills, of Newton Abbot, guessed 6 cwt 3qrs 7lbs as also did Mr. R. Watson of Newton Abbot, and Mr. Mark Whittle of Dartmouth. Next came Mr. Henry Pinsent, of Whitestone, Bovey Tracey in 6 cwt 3qrs 6lbs, and Mr. S. Rowe, of Newton Abbot, in 6 cwt 3qrs 9lbs …
