Western Times: Monday 9th December 1901

Rugby: At Totnes, in miserable weather, the home team met Brixham. Totnes were weak, Adams and Windeatt being absent and L. Stoyle playing back in place of Pinsent who has left for South Africa. Play in the first half was monopolised by the forwards. In the second Nott raced over between the uprights from the line-out, and Kinsman majorised, Totnes won by five points to nil.
