Newton Abbot: An entertainment was given in the Boys’ Schoolroom, Highweek Street, on Tuesday evening in aid of the Parish Church Organ Fund. The following took part; Misses Pinsent, Miss Cookson, Mr. A. Mills, Messrs. E.J. Walters, and J. Evans (Torquay), Mr. S. Hamlyn (Totnes), cello: Mr. R. Holmes, violin; Mr. G.S. Patey, concertina. Miss Cookson and Miss B. Pinsent played a mandolin duet and the whole performance gave general satisfaction.
