Parish and District Councils: Highweek: At the meeting of the Highweek Parochial Sanitary Committee, held on Monday evening, Mr. W. S. Pinsent presided. At the Parish Council meeting which followed a letter was read from the Urban District Council giving the names of seven gentlemen appointed to confer as to the amalgamation of Highweek and Wolborough. On the proposition of Mr. Shapley, seconded by Mr. A. H. Burge, Messrs. C. G. Vicary, John Wright, W. S. Pinsent, and W. J. Shilston were appointed as the committee of this Council to meet the committee of the District Council and also the committee appointed by the Rural District Council. … …
