Newton Football Club and the County Committee: On Monday evening a crowded meeting of members and supporters of Newton Football Club was held at the Bradley Hotel to consider the action of the County Committee in suspending J. Callacombe for a week, and deciding that no league matches should be played on the Newton ground for a month. Rev. T. Warner presided and among those also present were Messrs. L. Bearne, C.C., R. H.
