The Roseland Concerts: For the second year the Roseland Concerts have paid a flying visit to London. A word is necessary about this organization. These concerts were founded in 1919 in a small hamlet in Cornwall, where their work chiefly lies, and their aim is to bring music into the villages and small towns. Their present show should – to judge from the performance at Paddington Street on Saturday – accomplish this aim. It is entitled “Songs and Dances of Many Lands” and in its quiet unostentatious way it affords an excellent glimpse into the traditional songs and dances of most of the European countries … continues … includes a list of items including … The dances are produced by Miss Maude Douie, and assisting her as dancers, singers and musicians are Miss Maisie Radford, Miss Evelyn Radford, Miss Margaret Layton, Miss Marion Radford, Miss Hester Pinsent, Miss Barbara Barfield and Messrs. Owen Barfield and Cecil Harwood.
