Birmingham Assizes: Action Against Sir Robert Peel: In the Nisi Prius Court, before Mr. Justice Collins on Monday, an action was brought by Arthur Piggott Jevon, horticultural engineers, Erdington to recover L. 635 from Sir Robert Peel, bart., of Drayton Manor, Tamworth. Mr. Hugo Young (instructed by Smith, Pinsent, and Co.,) appeared for the plaintiff and the Hon. Alfred Lyttleton M.P. (instructed by Powell and Burt, London) for the defendant.
