Newton Agricultural Society: The twenty-sixth annual meeting was held yesterday (Thursday). The ploughing match took place in a field called Deer Park, on Forde Farm, the property of the Earl of Devon, in the occupation of Mr. Wm. Exeter: Devon Michaelmas Sessions: The criminal business was proceeded with on Wednesday morning. Sir Stafford H. Northcote, Bart, M.P., presided and on the Bench also were the Hon. F.
