Coventry Standard: Saturday 25th May 1861

Barston: Warwick and Leamington v. Barston. This match which had been looked forward to with much interest, was played at Barston on Monday last, when the Barstonians came off victorious. The Bowling of Messrs. Gem, Elmore and Margetta was excellent and the fielding on both sides was good. The score, when the wickets were drawn was as follows: Barston: 1st Innings: 78 (included … W.
