Orthopaedic Hospital: Bazaar Opened by the Mayoress of Marylebone: There was a large and select gathering at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Great Portland Street, on Wednesday when the Mayoress of Marylebone (Mrs. E. Debenham) opened the annual bazaar in aid of the funds of this very useful and deserving institution, with was opened by King Edward VII, for the treatment and cure of crippled and deformed patients, 75 per. cent. of those treated being children. … (discussion of need for funds and of the event) … The proceedings took place in the large ward, on the fourth floor. It was made to look very picturesque, with several stalls effectively arranged. Most of them contained articles both fancy and Useful. Miss Mary E.
