Treasury Promotions: The Lords Commissioners of his Majesty’s Treasury have approved the following promotions in the Treasury consequential on the appointment of Mr. G. C. Upcott, C.B., to Comptroller and Auditor-General, with effect from October 1 next. Mr. F. Phillips, C.B., to be Deputy Controller. Mr. J. Rae to be a principal assistant secretary. Mr. G. H. S. Pinsent to be an assistant secretary.
