Clarence Pier: The concerts on the Clarence Pier on Saturday, both in the afternoon and evening, were fairly well attended, and were quite up to the usual standard of excellence from a musical point of view … An additional attraction was the appearance of Miss Maud Pinsent, a brilliant pianist, whose contributions included Chapin’s (a) Etude in A flat minor, (b) Nocturne E. flat major; Weber’s “Moto Continuo,” and “Auf dem Bergen” (Grieg). Miss Pinsent is equipped with an uncommonly fine technique, and she has a crisp and velvety touch and a considerable amount of expression.
