Paymaster Kenneth E. D. Badcock, R.N. of his Majesty’s ship Arethusa, who was secretary to Commodore Tyrewhitt, of the Light Cruiser Squadron, accompanied his chief through the naval engagement of Heligoland and the Dogger Bank, has been married at Bishop Auckland where his home is, to Miss Frances Isabella Pinsent, of St. John’s Newfoundland, whose father, the late Mr. Charles S. Pinsent was Gentleman Usher of the Black Road at the Newfoundland House of Assembly.
