Glass Programme: The programme at Glass W.R.I. was sustained by Mrs. Pinsent, president, Miss Bateson and Masters A. and J. Pinsent, and consisted of two sketches by Mrs. Pinsent and Miss Bateson; a monologue by Miss Bateson, and songs by Miss Bateson and Masters A. and J. Pinsent. Those were greatly enjoyed. In a competition — guessing advertisements — Mrs. Thomson and Miss W. Gauld gained the prizes, gifted by Mrs. Pinsent. Hostesses were: — Mrs. and Miss Duncan, Belnaboth; Mrs. Robertson and Mrs. Watt.
