Leicester District Ancient Order of Foresters: Visit of the District Chief Ranger to the Court “Belgrave.” Bro. C. E. Hudson, D.C.R., made an official visit to Court “Belgrave” at a meeting, which was held at the National Schools on Tuesday evening. There was a good attendance, presided over by the Chief Ranger of the Court … … (discussion of enrollment and other issues) … Mr. Richard Cort then moved a hearty vote of thanks to the District Chief Ranger and the Committee of Management, and said he was sorry that the room had not been crowded to hear the inspiring addresses which had been delivered. He was quite sure that the movement the D.C.R. was initiating in the right direction, and nothing but good would follow from such meetings. He hoped that this would be continued in the future and the members would thereby be in closer touch with the officials of the District – Bro. A. Pinsent seconded, and Mr. Henry Davey, the secretary, in supporting, asked some rather important questions in regard to the valuation report presented by the official valuer. The resolution was carried, and the D.C.R. and D.S. replied.
