Dorset County Chronicle: Thursday 27th February 1851

The annual meeting of the Devon and Cornwall Banking Company was held at the Bank on Friday last. The report of the directors was satisfactory to the shareholders. A dividend at the rate of 6 percent per annum was declared, together with additional payment of 7s 6d per share making the annual payment equal to 7 ½ percent per annum exclusive of the income tax. The retiring directors, William Parance, Esq., Thomas Pinsent, Esq., and William Stuart, Esq. were re-elected.
