The Academy of Dramatic Art: The annual public performance of the students of the Academy of Dramatic Art took place yesterday afternoon at the New Theatre and it was notably for the fact that the places were, with one exception feminine; so, the gentlemen who are usually learning to be actors are obviously doing their duties elsewhere. … (discussion of the event) … and among the other players during the afternoon may be mentioned the Tilda of Miss Maisie Horne, the Portia of Miss Amy Rean, and two special dancers, Miss Sybil Fage, and Miss Phyllis Pinsent. It was a very successful afternoon and proved that, though useful, man is by no means essential on these occasions.
