Re: Walter Proctor Ryland (Deceased): Pursuant the Act of Parliament the 22nd and 23rd Vict. c. 35. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that all Creditors and other persons having any debts, claims or demands against the Estate of Walter Proctor Ryland late Derreen, 7 Boyne Park, Mount Ephraim Wells in the County of Kent Esquire deceased (who died the 22nd day June 1915 and whose Will was proved in the Principal Registry of the Probate Division His Majesty’s High Court of Justice the 6th day August by Thomas Howard Ryland of Moxhull Hall Erdington in the County of Warwick Esquire and Roy Pinsent, 6 Bennett’s Hill Birmingham the County Warwick Solicitor the Executors therein named) are hereby required to send in the particulars of their debts, claims or demands to us the undersigned, the Solicitors for the said Executors on or before the 30th day of November 1915 after which date the said Executors will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased amongst the persons entitled thereto having regard only to the claims and demands of which they shall then have had notice, and they will not be liable for the assets of the said deceased or any part thereof so distributed any person persons whose debts, claims or demands they shall not then have had notice: Dated this 28th day of September, 1915. WEDDING: MORTLOCK – PINSENT: A wedding of local interest took place on Saturday last at the Winchmore Hill Wesleyan Church. The contracting parties were Mr. Harold R. Mortlock, second son of Mr. and Mrs. George Mortlock of 67, Wiesbaden Road, Stoke Newington, N., and Miss Ruby Pinsent, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Pinsent, of 35, Amberley Road, Palmer’s Green, and St. Mildred’s, Beacon Hill Parade, Home Bay. The officiating minister was the Rev. Ira G. Goldhawk, and the church was prettily decorated. The bride’s dress was of white duchesse satin trimmed with old lace, and the court train was worked with chiffon roses and horseshoe of orange blossom. She also wore a diamond pendant, the present of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids were, the Misses N. Spurdle, A. Jacobs, and F. Maltby. who were dressed in gold, blue and pink broche, the skirts being looped with true lovers’ knots. They also wore tulle mob caps with streamers to match and carried shower bouquets of mixed sweet peas and smilax. The bridegroom’s present to each was a wristlet watch. The train bearer was Master Lloyd, who wore white corded silk trimmed with old lace. The bridegroom was attired in khaki and was attended by Mr. Percy Taylor as best man. A reception was held at Amberley Road, and shortly after Mr. and Mrs. Mortlock left for Herne Bay, prior to the bridegroom’s return to duty at the School of Musketry, Hythe. There were many useful and valuable presents. …

Naval Officer’s Wedding at Bishop Auckland: The marriage was quietly solemnized at Bishop Auckland of Paymaster Kenneth Edgar Badcock. R.N. (H.M.S. Arethusa), fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Badcock of Thornfield, Bishop Auckland, and Miss Frances Isabel Pinsent, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Charles S. Pinsent (Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod of the Newfoundland Parliament and Mrs. Pinsent, of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Lieutenant-Commander Alex. McCullagh, R.N. and Lieutenant C. E. Badcock, R.A.M.C. (brother of the bridegroom) were groomsmen, and Miss Marjorie Bousfield (niece of the bridegroom) attended as bridesmaid. The bridegroom and groomsmen wore uniforms. Paymaster Badcock is secretary to Commodore Reginald Y. Tyrwhitt of the light cruiser squadron, and was present at the engagements with the enemy at Heligoland and the Dogger Bank.
