South Devon Weekly Express: Friday 9th January 1925

The members and supporters of the local football club were entertained to supper at the Ship Hotel on Saturday evening last, at the kind invitation of Mr. and Mrs. Southwood. Mr. A. R. Holcombe presided, and about 30 were present. After a good supper the evening was devoted to harmony, the only toasts being “The Chudleigh United Football Club” and “The Host and Hostess” which were duly honoured.
