Wrington: Bazaar: On Wednesday a bazaar and sale of fancy and useful articles was held in the schoolroom, Wrington, the proceeds to be devoted towards raising a sum of £235, for improving and removing the organ in the parish church from the west end to the chancel. Mr. W. Long of West Hay, Wrington, who takes a great interest in all church matters has contributed most liberally towards the object … The room was decorated by Mr. E. Edwards and at the end was a pretty fernery and fountain, which had been erected by Mr. Showan and Mr. Pinsent. Mr. W. Long had engaged the services of the German band from Bath, and they played an excellent selection of music during the day … …
