New Beeston Cycle Company: In reply to letter of Messrs. Smith, Pinsent and Co., of the 16th inst., Messrs. Ashurst, Morris, Crisp and Co. are instructed as solicitors of the New Beeston Cycle Company Limited to say that the statement in that company’s prospectus that the company is buying the interest of Mr. Arthur Chamberlain and others in the Quinton Cycle company at a considerable premium is absolutely correct The purchase was unanimously approved by the shareholders at the last meeting and the names of the shareholders in a limited company are, of course, public property. …
