Portsmouth Evening News: Friday 10th May 1907

Promising Pianist: Maud Pinsont, the young pianist who was given such a cordial reception on her first appearance here last December will again play at the Clarence Pier Concerts to-morrow. Miss Pinsent studied for years at the Hampstead Conservatoire under Mme. Fischer Sobeel, one of the most brilliant of the many famous pupils of Clara Schumann, and there distinguished herself not only by heading the list in all her examinations, but by gaining the competitive prize for pianoforte playing, and winning high praise from Miss Fanny Davies, the adjudicator.
