Madras Weekly Mail: Thursday 15th October 1903

Mr. C. Pinsent, Secretary and Traffic Manager, Madras Harbour Trust Board, having availed himself of six months furlough, left Madras for Bombay en route to England yesterday evening. Mr. F. H. Longhurst, the Harbour Engineer, acts for Mr. Pinsent without prejudice to his own duties, until the permanent Chairman of the Harbour, Mr. F. J. E. Spring, C.I.E., takes charge of his office under the new arrangement.
