London Daily News: Tuesday 15th December 1857

Notice is hereby given that by an indenture of assignment dated the 28th day of November, 1857, and made between Edwin Barrett Corse, of Bedford Street, within the borough of Plymouth, in the County of Devon, draper, of the fist part; William Brock, of the City of Exeter, draper and Richard Steele Pinsent, of Devonport, in the said county, draper of the second part; and the several other persons whose names and seals are hereunto subscribed and set, being respectively creditors of the said Edwin Barrett Corse, of the third part; the said Edwin Barrett Corse assigned all his Estate and Effects, to the said William Brock and Richard Steele Pinsant, upon trust for the equal benefit of the creditors of the said Edwin Barrett Corse who should execute the said indenture as therein is mentioned; and that they said deed was exercised by the said Edwin Barrett Corse and Richards Steele Pinsent on 5th day of November last, and by the said William Brock on the 9th day of December instant; and that the execution thereof by the said Edwin Barrett Corse and Richard Steele Pinsent is attested by Alfred Hooker, of No. 1 Sussex Terrace, in Plymouth aforesaid, solicitor, and the execution thereof by the said William Brock is attested by John Stogdon, of Gundy Street in the City of Exeter, solicitor.
