Hockey: Leicester Y.M.C.A. v. Hinckley: At Hinckley: the game opened at a tremendous pace, the home side being very aggressive … In the second half Leicester forced two penalty corners which were well saved. Pinsent, the visiting centre, was badly hurt and had to retire, after which Hinckley assumed the upper hand, scoring twice in quick succession. Pinsent returned and the visitors had the majority of the play afterwards but could not score again, and Hinckley won well by 4-1.
