SANVEY GATE MISSION HALL: On Sunday evening, instead of the usual service, an excellent sacred musical service was given by Mr. W. Groocock, F.R.C.0., L.R.A.M. and his young folk, when the following programme was much enjoyed by a large congregation: — Part song, “My boat is waiting” (Henry Smart); song, “The Gentle Shepherd” (Adams), Master Archie Barrow; song, “Tender Wood Dove” (Gounod), Miss Nora Goodson; song, “The Promise of Life” (Cowen), Miss May Fewkes; song, “In the hour of trial” (Gounod), Miss Beatrice Haddon; song, “Hearts and Flowers” (Czibulka), Miss Clara Hunt; part song, “The Angel” (Rubenstein); song, “Daddy,” Miss M. Fryer; “The Climbers” (Fortescue), Miss May Fewkes; song, “The Better Land” (Cowen). Master Archie Barrow; song, “Far from my Heavenly Home” (Margetson), Miss Clara Hunt; musical monologue, “If we only knew,” Miss Doris Pinsent; song, “Perhaps,” Miss Nora Goodson: Part song. “Wanderer”, Night Song” (Rubinstein).
