Municipal Elections: Belgrave Ward: Liberal Candidate Adopted: A meeting to elect a Liberal candidate to contest the Belgrave Ward was held last evening in the Nonconformist School Belgrave Road. Dr. Hutchinson presided, and amongst those present were Ald. S. Hilton, J.P., Councillors S. Hudson, and G. E. Hilton. Messrs. H. Waddington, Wilkes, Minchen, J. S. Gibson, A. Wilkes, I. Clayton, T. Hassill, G. Pincent, and J. W. C!ayton, W. Waddington, in moving the adoption of Councillor C. E. Hilton, as the Liberal candidate, said that in the discharge of the duties devolving upon hint during the time he had represented them on the Town Council, he had justified their expectations of him when he was elected three years ago. — Mr. Mason seconded.
