Short Notice of Sale: Lode Farm, Kingsley: Four miles from Alton and six from Liss Station: Sale of 61 head of Cattle, including Devon Cow due to calve, four three years old HEIFERS in full milk, nine SHORTHORN STEERS, 15-months SHORTHORN HEIFERS and STEERS, 10 nine-months SHORTHORN HEIFERS and STEERS, 14 DEVON CALVES, three WEANERS, five young and powerful CART HORSES of stamp, BAY COB, 15 hds, rising five years, quiet to ride and drive and fast, one three years and two two-years COLTS, two Yearling CART FILLIES, a well-bred BAY NAG YEARLING, SOW and PIGS, 50 head of POULTRY, and a first-class assortment of FARM IMPLEMENTS, HARNESS, and DEAD STOCK, comprising three new trolley waggons with head and tail ladders, new iron-arm waggon with double thills by Moore, three tip carts, ploughs, drags, burrows, 13-coulter spring corn drill, self binder Harrison McGregor, elevator and horse gear, “Ohio” hay loader, two grass mowers, Ralli car with lamps, &c., complete, six sets of thill and four sets of trace harness in excellent condition, and miscellaneous effects. Messrs: JAMES HARRIS and SON are instructed by Mr. H. J. Pinsent, who is quitting, to SELL by AUCTION, on the premises as above, on Friday February 10th, 1905, at one o’clock precisely – the whole of the valuable Live and Dead Stock of the farm.
