Presentation to Rev. R. C. Callender, M. A.: Yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon there was a large attendance at the Schoolrooms at Highfield, the occasion being the presentation of a testimonial to the Rev. R. C. Callender, M.A., who for the past sixteen years has laboured most earnestly and successfully as the curate of Christchurch, Highfield, and who in leaving the parish takes with him the sincere and heartfelt wishes of all for his and Mrs. Callender’s further happiness and prosperity.
