Local Government Inquiry at Bovey: In answer to a petition from the Newton Union Rural Sanitary Authority for sanction to borrow £2,000 for constructing a reservoir for Bovey Tracey water supply, the Local Government Board sent down Mr. Arnold Taylor, who held an inquiry at the Town Hall on Thursday to hear any complaints against the proposed new site, which is at Bears, or about a mile north of the town.
