Concert at the Globe Assembly Rooms on Thursday had in view of the laudable object of raising funds on behalf of the insurance fund of the Newton Football Club. Seldom has the need of the funds been more noticeable locally than the present season during which the number of casualties and accidents has been a prominent feature of the different matches.
