Gilchrist Lecture: Meeting at Newton: There was a fairly large attendance at the Town Hall, Newton, on Wednesday evening, when Mr. D. R. Roberts, M.A., D.Sc., secretary of the Gilchrist Educational Trust, delivered an address on the “Origin and work of the Gilchrist Trust, and the relation to some of the educational problems of to-day.” Mr. C. G. Vicary, President of the Science, Arts and Technical School presided, and was supported by Rev. W. E. Durham (Rector of Wolborough), Mr. J. W. Rowell, J.P. (Chairman of Newton Urban Council), Mr. W. S. Pinsent, (Chairman of HIghweek Parish Council), Mr. Vicary, J.P., Mr. F. Watts … (and others) … (discussion of Gilchrist Trust) … Rev. W. E.
