Coventry & District: … A Smoking concert was held at the Hillman Club, Pinley, where Mr. A. J. Dawson (works manager) presided and made a presentation to Mr. A. E. Sheldon of a smoking cabinet and set of stainless-steel cutlery. Mr. Dawson commented on the success of Mr. Sheldon’s efforts during the time he had been with the Hillman Motor Car Company, and wished him success in his new position … The following contributed to the harmony of the evening: Messrs.
