Football Club: On Friday evening the first annual meeting of the Axminster Football Club was held at the Old School Rooms. Mr. Pinsent presided, and there was a good attendance of members. The Hon. Secretary (Rev. A. Newman) produced the minutes of the previous meeting, which were read and confirmed. The accounts showed a small balance in hand. The first year’s working of the Club has proved of a satisfactory character.
