The Ballot for Places: The ballot for choice of seats at the first four Festival performances took place yesterday, at King Edward’s High School, New Street, and was conducted upon the same lines as on previous occasions … (discussion) … Dr. Wade and Mr. Elwell looked after the issue of the president’s and vice-presidents’ tickets, which are exempted from the ballot; while the care of the plans of the hall and the record of the selections made from them was in the hands of Messrs. F. Everitt, Lawley Parker, E. Nettlefold, Bayley Marshall, R. E. Couchman, G.F. Lyndon, H. Parish, R. A. Pinsent, H. F. Elkington, F. B. Osborn, and B. Everitt.  …
