On behalf of John Hill, Mr. Freeman (Smith, Pinsent and Co.) applied for the provisional grant and confirmation of a victualler’s licence to the new building to be erected on the site of the Unicorn Inn, Digbeth. He stated that by the alteration the ground occupied by the licensed premises would be reduced by eighty one square yards. The police made no objection to the application, which was granted.
