Bankruptcy: Re: Thomas Eady, formerly of the George Hotel, Walsall, and the Falstaff Restaurant, Bull Street, Birmingham, licensed Victualler: Debts, £6,688, assets, £606. The latter came before the Court on a motion by the Official Receiver to obtain repayment to the estate of two sums – one of £225 and the other of £275 – alleged to have been illegally given as a preferential payment by the bankrupt to Miss Alice Wardby.
