Assistant Solicitor to the Corporation: This morning the Sub-committee of the General Purposes Committee charged with the appointment of an assistant solicitor to the Corporation in place of Mr. B. S. Miller (who is leaving to take up another public position in Devonshire) interviewed half a dozen selected candidates and eventually decided to offer the post to Mr. Jeffrey M.
