Gas and Coke Company Limited: The annual meeting of the shareholders in this company was held on Thursday at the Globe Hotel and being the first since its incorporation under the Act 1862, which makes it limited, was very largely attended. By the articles of association all the directors and officers had to be re-elected. The retiring directors were Messrs. W. Badcock, J. S. Bearne, £Bearne, E. Beazley, E. C. Kent, P. S. Michelmore, J.
