Golf at Westward Ho.: A special meeting of the Westward Ho and North Devon Ladies’ Club was held on Saturday last for a handicap competition for five prizes. The day was everything that could be desired, a good breeze from the sea and some light flying clouds tempering the extreme heat of the sun, so the attendance both of members and spectators was very large.
