Paignton: About 44 members of the Paignton Company put in an appearance at the Preston Sands Range on Saturday for the purpose of competing for the annual prizes. The weather was most boisterous and greatly interfered with high scoring. The amount of money competed for was about £25, being subscribed by the inhabitants of the town. … The arrangements for the shooting were admirably carried out by Sergt-Mjr. Instr. J. Palmer.
