Birmingham County Court: Yesterday: Before Mr. Registrar Cole: Re: Joseph Powell, of 393 Nechells Park Road, Birmingham, Baker, a bankrupt: First meeting of creditors. Messrs. Barlow, Smith, and Pinsent, of 39 Waterloo Street, solicitors represented the petitioning and other creditors; Mr. Harper, solicitor, represented the bankrupt. The bankrupt was present, and the statement of his affairs showed liabilities of £499, and assets of £109. Mr. L. J. Sharp, of 120 Colmore Row, chartered accountant, was appointed trustee; and the public examination of the bankrupt was fixed for the 26th July.
