Legal Honours: The gold medal prize of the Birmingham Law Society for the year 1873 has been, this week, awarded and presented to Mr. Richards Alfred Pinsent, who served his clerkship with Messrs. James and Oerton of this town. The examiners having certified to the Council of the Incorporated Law Society (London) that of the candidates for admission from Birmingham, in the year 1873, Mr. Pinsent passed the best examination, and was, in the opinion of the examiners, entitled to honorary distinction. Mr. Pinsent also received one of the prizes of the Incorporated Law Society on his admission in Easter Term, 1873.
