Victoria Grounds: A 200 yards’ dog handicap, organised by Mr. J. Pincent, for which £6 in prizes is offered, was commenced at the Victoria Ground, Knighton-road, on Saturday afternoon. Despite the heavy downpour there was a good attendance of dog fanciers, and the racing, although only the preliminary portion of the handicap was run, was very closely contested. The card contained 69 entries, and out of these a fair number competed in each heat.
