Western Times: Thursday 7th April 1881

Feoffees of Highweek: Twelve being the maximum number of these gentlemen originally appointed, and six the minimum before it is compulsory to fill the vacancies, death has decimated the number to five, namely, Messrs. J. Beachey, Salter, T. Lane, J. Whiteway, and Capt. Monro. Consequently, other gentlemen have been named to all the vacancies. Mr. Beachey, through age and infirmity, is about to resign, and it has been suggested that Mr. Lane should be asked to do ditto: if he consents. Mr. L. Bearne will be asked to succeed him. The other vacancies will be filled by the Rev. S. G. Harris, and Messrs. J. Pidsley, J. Vicary, W. Pinsent, W. Vicary, J. Rowell, J. Segar, and H. Beachey.
