A poll was demanded by Messrs. Widdicombe, Compodonico, Symis, Crook and Phillips. The Chairman, as treasurer of Pinsent’s Grammar School, presented the accounts which showed that with a balance in hand at the beginning of the year of £32, the income had been £101, and the expenditure, £83, leaving a balance in hand of £17. These were adopted, as also were the accounts of the Charity Governors, showing an income, including the balance of £51, of £185, and the expenditure of £130, leaving £55 in hand. …
