Highweek: Mr. W. S. Pinsent presided over a small attendance of the Parish Council on Monday evening. Neither the Sanitary Inspector (Mr. S. Segar) nor his assistant (Mr. Rogers) was present; consequently, there was no Sanitary Report (discussion on road, drainage, lighting issues etc.) … The Council elected Messrs. C. G. Vicary, J. Wright, W. S. Pinsent, and W. L. Shilston to join with the Urban (7) and the Rural (3) on the Committee to consider the amalgamation of Highweek and Wolborough for parochial and sanitary purposes. …
