Mr. W. S. Pinsent presided at a meeting of the Highweek Parochial Committee held last evening. It was decided to defer the matter of flushing apparatus for Cricket-field Terrace until the adoption of the Public Health Amendment Act by the Rural District Council. A meeting of the parish Council followed, the Clerk reported having written the Local Government Board re the bathing place but had received no reply.
